l would like to get a description or directions about how to tie the Kamikaze knot featured in Bear Grylls' Man vs Wild Ireland episodes.Links, videos of Bear or somebody else tying it, or personal descriptions would all be appreciated.Thanks.

l am not positive, but it looks like a sheepshank knot to me.

I've never heard of a sheepshank being used in that way, but that is what it looks like. Seems like a really bad idea to do what he did, but l guess if that is your only choice..

l think it is a sheepshank knot with one of ''legs'' cut. See following links. Good luck & do not do it with the new synthetic rope.
