l usually go to Superstition Mountains or take a day trip to Sedona to climb there. Sedona, at least for me, is a lot better since you can see scenery as well as get the exercise.

hard to find a really good spot with the heat and all. we used to go to the beardsley boulder pile off Tatum and Deer Valley but we mostly stick to indoor gyms until it cools off. check out rockclimbing.com, they have a comprehensive list of places to go by state. all kinds of places to go in AZ.
