When l was younger Rebecca Stephens visited my school and gave us a motivational speech on her climb up Everest. l just remember being awestruck by her adventure. l do not know where to begin planning it. l know it is not a walk in the park, however i'm willing to go through the training. Is anyone aware of any groups who specialise in Everest? Thanks

Start training today. Take mountaineering courses that teach u about technique, equipment, routes & survival. Then begin a minimum of two to three years of regular practice climbs in high alpine terrain, including steep faces, rough rocks, night climbs, ice falls & snow climbs.
Step2
Get a complete physical checkup. You will need healthy veins & arteries to pump lots of blood to ur brain & muscles, as well as to warm ur body. Keep ur blood pressure & cholesterol down.
Step3
Raise the cash. You will need plenty, even a low-budget trip will cost $25,000, with guided package trips soaring to as much as $60,000. Realize that $10,000 goes to permits alone; then add travel, food, equipment, oxygen, insurance & Sherpa fees. Consider approaching corporations for sponsorship deals to cover ur expenses.
Step4
Plan a May expedition. The weather is most cooperative then (when it is not a whiteout, blowing 100-mph winds, & 50 degrees below zero). Six months in advance, u will need to file for permits & send copies of passports & climbing letters of recommendation for ur team to the Nepal Ministry & Administration, as well as to a trekking agency to help u with transporting ur gear. You will also need to contract with Sherpas to aid u on ur voyage. For more information, contact the Nepalese Embassies & Consulate Offices in Washington, D.C., or in Kathmandu, Nepal.
Step5
Pack a first aid kit, medications, satellite phone, walkie-talkies, laptop computer, padlocks for bags, tents, sleeping bags, mountaineering clothing, climbing equipment & ropes, water, food, trash bags, sun-screen, vision protection, oxygen bottles & anything else u can fit on a yak or on ur back, or that u can hire a Sherpa to carry for you. Make sure you've tested all ur gear in cold, severe conditions before u pack it.
Step6
Get yourself to Kathmandu, Nepal, where ur expedition truly begins. You can fly a number of international carriers connecting through major airports; none of these flights will be direct or nonstop. Jet lag is guaranteed. Check in with the local authorities, pay ur fees & organize ur crew.
Step7
Trek from Lukla to Base Camp at 17,600 feet. Scale the Khumbu Icefall up to 19,500 feet. Rest at Camp l in the Valley of Silence. Push on to Camp I l at 21,300 feet. Scale the Lhotse Face & climb to Camp II l at 23,500 feet. Rest & acclimatize for the trip to Camp IV, which at 26,300 feet is the only camp located in the 'death zone.'
Step8
Charge the summit when u have a weather window. Start early in the morning, before sunrise, with extra down mittens & plenty of oxygen.
Step9
Sit atop the 29,028-foot summit & know that u r at the highest point on earth. And then mentally prepare for the descent, because getting down is just as dangerous.
Step10
Pack out all of ur empty oxygen bottles & trash to get back ur $4,000 environmental deposit & leave the mountain with good karma.

i found this on some web-site l thought it would help
but l didnt find where u could plan one

First step is to start climbing glaciers & snow covered peaks - take a mountaineering / glacier travel course & see if u like this kind of climbing. l know there is a good Glacier class on Mt. Washington in Washington state.

You really need to get some smaller peak experience before u even consider climbing Everest. You may find that u love climbing on snow & u may not - find that out early.

Either learn from a professional guide or an experienced climber that u meet at a climbing gym or climbing area. Many experienced climbers will be willing to teach a new climber.

Good Luck
