The base camps are permanent fixtures when the mountain is in use these are erected and supplied by sherpas who work for various group leaders, to whom you would pay your money, to keep you safe and guide you to the summit. Yes toilets are there but not as we know them, are you going to climb?

l am afraid that most of the climbers of today are plain 'litter louts'.

Halfway up Everest is one big pile of oxygen tanks; tents and various items deemed at the time, to be 'junk'.

The guy above me didnt answer the question he said they have trash???? well yes they do have toilets but not the white flushing thrones l am accustome too. they are more outhouse non flushing holes in the ground. but hey your at Mt everest the last thing you should be worried about is toilets. take in the view and enjoy your time and beautiful place

Read ''Into Thin Air'' by Jon Krakauer. It will explain a lot. The fee you described is a little high, and they vary by expedition. Normally there are just some large outfitter is type tents for the mess area and sort of HQ, beyond that there is small tents to sleep in, and not much else.

it has all info abouit climbin big mountains but l warn you its not a good- climbin mountains

yes, there r actually permenent camps, theres 5. base camp, camp1 camp 2 and so on untill u get to camp 4. the only bathroom stops are in the small villeges at about 12,000 ft to 16000 feet. l sugest u dont go to labuche, the bathrooms are wooden boxes ,and theres a good chance ull get a disease because of the bacteria their. You will have plenty of sherpas up their to help u out, thats their job. good luck!
