yes it does. It makes your hands tougher. Some major leaguers have admitted to doing this. just do it in hte shower. It doesnt have to be right after playing but just do it on a consistent basis

l do not know about that one but l can tell you this it does help with getting rid of athletes foot. The reason is your piss is very acidic.

Your own urine is not acidic enough. Someone else is urine would be far more healing. Trust me!

That is disgusting dude, if you soak your hands in alcohol after climbing it toughens up your skin, do that instead, or you could pee on them first then soak them in alcohol to clean them. Then you'd have super tough hands.

l think the uric acid in urine could toughen ur hands, but most likely in a very small way. l think urine helping to turn blisters into calouses is more likely, because the skin has been altered in blistering & therefore might be more ''primed'' to be acted upon by the uric acid.

Many native cultures have utilized urine in some steps of the process of curing hides to make leather. You can not just pee on the fresh hide to make leather, but after some other steps the uric acid helps to alter the molecular structure of the hide.
The blistering process just might weaken the integrity of the mucous bonds in the flesh to allow the uric acxid to ''toughen'' it up a bit.

A buddy of mine from Chile swears by it (peeing on ur hands) for toughening up ur hands.

In any event, l think u would have to pee on ur hands ALOT for it to make any noticeable difference.

On the plus side, fresh urine is sterile (at least until the protiens start to decompose) so it is not quite as nasty as it sounds (as long as he washes his hands!)
