Good workouts to do at home to build strenght to rock climb.

l am going to start rock climbing. what are good workout that will help me build strenght primarily in the arms. l know most of the work comes from the legs in climbing but l need the hands to keep myself on the wall of course.

beside just lifting weights? push ups. vertical push ups. ab. workouts. I'd recommend going to the gym for more weights and better equipment to do different things.

The very best way is to climb as often as possible, and to increase your hand strength, try buildering, you will learn how to use your hands faster because you do not have a rope to rely on. other than just climbing, l would incorperate weights and cardio.
