I've been indoor rock climbing for a party once a couple years ago, but now I am going on a date and we're indoor rock climbing. I am not trying to impress or needing fashion advice, but what l mean is, would it make rock climbing easier to wear jeans for khaki? Or what?

The key in climbing gyms or outside is freedom of movement. You need to wear loose clothing a pair of sweat pants. track pant, stretchy leggings, shorts, Baggy khaki is are all good.

Have fun and good luck on with the date! Sounds like fun! The first date l went on with my now life partner was a rock climbing date. It is a great way to have fun and learn about the other person.

jeans.. loose jeans.. they are surprisingly comfortable to climb in, and they will protect you from scratches of a textured wall..

l would not really recommend jeans if they are hard to move and stretch in. Maybe some other fabric, just anything that is really comfortable and that you are able to move around in and stretch really far. Also do not wear anything too low as that can get awkward, lol.

l do indoor rock climbing all the time and although you would think that loose clothes like khaki would be better there is not actually much wrong with jeans. l wear 3/4 jeans all the time, l would not recomend full length jeans coz they get cought on ur feet but see if you can touch ur knees to ur chest in ur chosen clothes:P. if you can then its sorted!

l find that whilst loose jeans would be ok for ease of movement (was bouldering in jeans on my friends' bouldering wall last night), for climbing at indoor walls they would be a bit hot and sweaty, so I'd always go for something made of a thin fabric.
