What's in your first aid kit

plasters, tape and chocolate!

smallest kit l would have should have a bandages, peroxide,a pocket knife, water, and med. tape.

Band-aids, medical tape, good scissors, gauze, alcohol swabs, non-aspirin pain relief, a few ace bandages, and some anti-giardia meds. It is for backpacking, though, and you should adjust as needed.

If it is for general emergency and you're not going to need to carry it around, you should put in some instant hot/cold packs, and a few emergency things of water.

Emergency blanket, Chap stick, band aids, tape, peroxide, wet light matches and drier lint, bug spray and sun screen, Sanitary pad, and of course a non melty Chocolate bar!

Do not own one personally, but l met a guy in the Alps whose first aid kit consisted of gaffa tape and his passport!
Compeed (or similar brand) blister plasters are always a good thing to have though if you're doing a lot of walking.
