l know one of the permit prices is $70,000 and that is current as of 2008. It changes seasonally though, l think it cost more in Spring when the conditions are better. Sorry l can not be more help.

It really depends on a few things such as, if you climb with a company, what route you climb with, what kind of sherpa support you have, whether you have a doctor etc.

As someone who is working towards climbing Everest hopefully within the next 8 years l can tell you that you can expect to pay AT LEAST $40, 000.

A permit to climb Everest in the spring generally runs around $70,000 US. The number of people currently allowed on a permit is 15.

The cost for a winter and summer permit is about $18,000 (about 1/4) of that and is about $35,000 (about 1/2) for the fall.

This is ONLY the cost for the permit.not associated costs for porters, food, equipment, transportation, and guides.
