Any important advice, please?
(But do not tell me I will be better to stay at home! O.K. ?)

I will be for 5 days long at 1,500 altitude in the mountains, with my older child (9 y.o.), into a mountain-cottage, and the weather is said it will be very ugly starting right that time forth.

What else or/and especially should l take with me, thinking l also cannot take too many.

It will be a 1 - 2 Km of walking also through woods up there, where we shall stay,
from the most nearer other cottage (to which we have some kind of transportation).

l thought about:
- some medication
- a special, greasy lip-stick
- clothes like for sky (inclusive sky sun-glasses for a better visibility)
- enough socks, etc.

ANYTHING else important ???

- a flash light (lantern)
- some sugar & a lemon ????? - l do not know from where have l this info & why should it be necessary. May you enlighten me, please ?

Your child would be better off at home while you go and freeze yourself. Take a camera with photos of yourself and personal identification so that whoever discovers your body may be quickly able to identify you and notify your next of kin. Have a nice trip.

Umm, food would help, lol! Lemon and sugar would be good for making tea. Is there a stove for making water from snow? Otherwise bring a portable burner.
