have 'em done professionally or buy a new pair, do not risk having the rubber come unglued when your at the crux.

People get it done professionally because if it is not done right, your shoes will suck, and then what is the point? It is still about half the price of new shoes.

Resoles are cheap and you can get whatever rubber added to them you wish. Doing them yourself is time consuming, can be expensive and half the time works really badly. Just get it done professionally.

l have had many shoes resoled, climbing shoes & hiking boots.
companies like 5.10 sell resole kits. l have never used one, l have always sent them in.
some shoes like climbing slippers r a crap shoot for resoling. For me, the fit is molded to my foot after breaking them in & resoling has ruined them. For other climbing shoes though like my 5.10 huecos, resoling has added much life.
l have not used this company, but thet r all pretty standard.

l did not know you could. But why not just get a new pair? l mean, if you're not getting 100% out of them what use are they?
