l have some shoes that l just love 5.10, and well they are starting to smell.ewhhhhh, and l hate it. Now l know it is a give, but has anyone found somethig that works? Keep in mind that this is a climbing shoe...rubber and glue, and $$$

Take a panty hose stocking, fill it with baking soda in the toe enough to make a tennis ball sized lump. Tie it off, cut the excess.
When you are done climbing stick the baking soda balls inside your shoes.

Let them air out! If you put sweat damp shoes in your bag and leave them there, they will get funky.

l have heard of people giving them a shot of Lysol, but l would not try it. Last thing l want is more chemicals to be absorbed into my skin!

l put a little bit of chalk in the shoe and let it air dry after every climb. especially when l get home from the rock gym and they are really gross, l will thow 'em on the back porch in the sunlight for a while and I've even used a little bit of Fabreeze on them. nothing is going to make them smell like roses, but it at least keeps the really funky stuff at bay.

Hmmm. l guess maybe you could spray a little Lysol in them. Or you could also try baking soda.

But l do not bother. I've just nicknamed my shoes ''The Shoes of Death''.
