l have not climbed in years but l found my old Chournard harness and the rest of my gear in the back of my closet...
It is been dry, warm and visually looks ok, and l can not say as though l fell more than once while using it. l need some liability free advise here, use it or replace it ?

If you've had ur ''old harness lying around in the closet for years get rid of it. A lot of climbers have died using old harnesses that fell apart because the seams were not as strong as they should have been. It is the same thing with ropes & slings, get rid of them too, even though u do not think they've been used that much ''in years'' (more than just a few). Fabrics & filaments break down simply from age, that is what plastics do. Only trust ur metallic gear, which have a longer lifespan.

This is just stupid thing to try to save money on.
